PHILLY CHEESESTEAK

A classic Philly cheesesteak with tender, thinly sliced beef, melted provolone, and sautéed onions on a toasted hoagie roll. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or game day!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ribeye steak thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions (and peppers if using) until soft and golden, about 5 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  • In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Return onions and peppers to the skillet and mix.
  • Place slices of provolone over the meat and veggie mixture, cover with a lid, and let the cheese melt.
  • Spoon the cheesy beef and onion mixture onto each hoagie roll. Serve hot and enjoy!
