Ingredients
  

  • 1 unbaked pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until well combined. Stir in the pecan halves.
  • Pour the pecan filling into the unbaked pie crust, spreading the pecans evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly browned. A knife inserted in the center should come out clean.
  • Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing. Serve as is or with whipped cream for a delicious dessert!
