Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 lbs flank or skirt steak
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges for garnish
  • Chopped onions and cilantro for garnish
  • Tortillas for serving
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and soy sauce.
  • Place the steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness (medium-rare to medium).
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain. Serve with warm tortillas, lime wedges, and toppings like chopped onions and cilantro.
