Ingredients

- Ground Beef: I prefer using finely ground beef or keema for burger patties. You can ask your butcher to put the meat through the mincing machine twice, so it is extra fine. I use meat with some fat in it. The fat adds flavour and makes the patty juicy.
- Spices: I usually keep the basic spices: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, mustard powder, and salt to taste.
- Sauces: You can’t make a great burger without some sauces! I add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mayonnaise.
- Buns: You can use any bun, such as brioche or potato, with or without sesame seeds.
- Toppings: The toppings you can put on burgers are unlimited! It’s all down to choice and preference. Some popular toppings are onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, cheese, and caramelized onions.

Making the Burger Patties
First, place the beef mince, 400 grams in the bowl of your blender. Add 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp paprika powder,

Place the ground beef in your blender bowl.

Start adding the spices.

Onion powder, garlic powder, paprika.

Also, add black pepper powder and mustard powder.
Now add ½ tsp mustard powder, salt, 1 tsp black pepper, and 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, and blend it all.

Add all the spices to the ground beef.

Add salt to taste.

Lastly, add the Worcestershire sauce.
Once the beef mince is blended with all the spices, let it marinate for half an hour or more.

After the beef has marinated, it’s time to shape it into patties.
Grease your hands and start by taking a small portion of marinated beef mince. Form it into a ball, and then flatten it.

Next, shape portions of the mince into patties.
Once the patties are made, let them rest in the refrigerator. Meanwhile, we can toast our burger buns.
Add butter to a frying pan. Once the butter has melted, toast the burger buns on a low flame until golden brown.

Caramelizing the Onions
Next, we will caramelize onions for the topping. Add 1 tbsp butter to a preheated frying pan. When it melts, add onion rings and fry them slightly.
Add ½ tsp brown sugar. Fry the onions on a medium-low flame until they turn light brown.

Fry the onions in the oil and add brown sugar.

When the onions turn golden, they are done.
Next, let’s fry the burger patties. Preheat a large frying pan on medium-low heat with 2 tbsp oil. Once the oil is hot, place the beef patties in the pan. Let them fry untouched for a minute.
After a minute flip, the burger patties. Be careful while flipping the patties, or they may break.
When the beef patties are almost done, place a slice of cheese on each patty, and when it has melted, the burger patties are done.

Add oil to a frying pan and preheat the pan.

Fry the burger patties on medium-low heat.

Finally, put a cheese slice on each patty and let it melt.
Assembling the Beef Burgers
Now, let’s assemble the beef burgers.
First, spread chili garlic sauce and mayonnaise on the burger buns. Then, place lettuce leaves, onions, and any other toppings you like on the buns.
Lastly, top with the beef patty on one bun, and cover it with the other bun.
Finally, your delicious beef burgers are ready! Serve them with French fries and coleslaw for a delicious meal.

Hint: Don’t use a non-stick pan to fry the patties. Non-stick pans should not be used in recipes that require a very high cooking temperature.
Before making full-size patties, make and fry a small patty to check the seasonings.
